The two sides of Ibiza more than an open-air disco

Are you looking for a wedding destination that allows you to combine the unbridled fun with beautiful landscapes and traditions? Ibiza then will be perfect for you!

Imagine a ceremony on a deserted beach, surrounded by guests dressed in white with the crystal-clear sea in the background. Ibiza offers not only beautiful seashores but also several other opportunities to celebrate a dream wedding, full of fun and entertainment but also romance and mystery.

Located in the Mediterranean Sea and with an area of about 570 km², Ibiza is one of the most famous components of the Balearic Islands. Also known as Isla Blanca, it is a summer paradise for those who enjoy having fun and dream of an exciting nightlife. Energetic and vital, it is a worldly island where parties reign supreme. Ibiza however is more than just an open-air disco. This volcanic island is a little gem to be discovered. In fact, it boasts ancient characteristic, historical villages and beaches with crystal-clear water and unique landscapes. This island has the appeal of a land rich in history but also with a lively nightlife. The combination of these two sides makes Ibiza very versatile: an ideal destination for people who don’t want to give up anything. Here’s what you can find:
  • Nightlife and entertainment Ibiza has an international and cosmopolitan atmosphere. Its population, especially during the tourist season, is a mix of people from all over the world. The nightlife is mainly focused in two areas: in the capital Eivissa (in Catalan) and in Sant Antoni de Portmany. There are numerous discos and clubs such as Privilege, Es Paradis and Pacha. Here you can dance all night long with the music of the best DJ in the world. Entertainment is also available during the day. Go over to the Las Salinas beach, famous for the beautiful chiringuitos, Bora-Bora for a lively beach party or Playa d’en Bossa, one of the longest beaches on the island.
  • History and nature In Ibiza you can also visit the historical centers to discover the culture of the Balearic Islands. The Dalt Vila, heart of the old town of Eivissa, is an ancient fortified village in sandstone, built as a defense against pirates and invaders. Crossing the antique entrance door, you will immerse yourself in a timeless atmosphere made of narrow alleys, market stalls and old bodegas. Ibiza is also home to beautiful protected natural areas such as Ses Salines or Es Cavallet, ideal for hiking and reconnecting with nature. If you are interested in enjoying the seaside, you can head to more isolated, wilder bays such as Platges de Comte, Pou des Lleó and the magical Cala d’Hort. This last spot is located in front of Es Vedrà islet, a rocky island known to be one of the places with the highest level of magnetism on the planet. It is an enchanting and mysterious area rich in myths and legends.

The good Mediterranean climate, the beautiful landscape and the perfect combination of history, nature and fun make Ibiza the ideal place to plan your special wedding!
